I meant to tell you about the real estate agent we used on our recent move to Huntsville.
I actually went through two others before finding Jim and Caroline Davis. Jim is a native Virginian and Caroine is a native Alabamian.
My wife and I found them to be a real pleasure and a calm in the storm during our transition recently from Atlanta to Huntsville.
I honestly believe we looked at 70 or so homes before finding the one we selected. I made two other offers but would not accept their counter-offers. One was not made at the suggestion of Jim and Caroline that the price was too high for the subdivision. I found them to be very honest and more interested in making us happy with what we wanted and could afford than what the price of the home was.
One subdivision that we thought we wanted did not have any homes for sale, Caroline researched the area for previous listings that had gone off the market and called on them to see if they were interested in selling. One of the offers I made was on a home she found by doing this for us.
They worked around our schedule and never tried to get us in higher ranges and never lacked in patience with us on our changing our minds on what we thought we wanted and ended up buying.
Just wanted you to know who I would recommend, because we went through the move in September 2003 and felt that the one person that didn't have their hand on my wallet was the Davis Team.
Let me know when you plan to come down and I'll plan to show you around. By the way the Davis's know the area well and the school situations in each area.
